Job description
Objective
Build a robust automation that reacts to appointment events (booked, rescheduled, cancelled) and updates contacts, pipelines, and tags in real time.Scope of Work
The engineer will:- Listen to GHL calendar webhooks
- Detect booking events
- Update contact fields
- Move opportunity stage when booked
- Apply/remove appointment tags
- Handle reschedules correctly
- Handle cancellations correctly
- Prevent duplicate stage moves
- Log all calendar events
Event Handling Must Cover
- Appointment booked
- Appointment confirmed
- Appointment rescheduled
- Appointment cancelled
- No-show (if available)
Technical Requirements
- Near real-time processing
- Idempotent event handling
- Race-condition protection
- Proper timezone handling
- Retry logic for failures
- Clean event mapping
